Lex is the director of Missing Link Yoga and Pilates in Chestertown, Maryland.

She began dabbling in yoga 30 years ago, using it as a compliment to outdoor pursuits such as mountaineering, but became a serious student of Astanga yoga in Telluride, Colorado in 1999. Returning to the East Coast, Lex found her lifetime teacher in Beryl Bender Birch, and has been a student ever since. Lex is a 500 hr. graduate of the Hard and The Soft Yoga Institute, registered with the National Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 500 level, a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and a YACEP level registration to train other teachers.

Lex has a B.S. in Education, a M.S. in Psychological Counseling, and Post Graduate studies in Organizational Psychology, and Leadership Development.  She spent her professional career in a variety of settings facilitating personal and professional growth and development with students ranging from schools, colleges, and corporate settings.

Lex is endlessly humbled by the hard work and dedication of her students, and is committed to bring to her students a sense of humor and laughter in a lifetime of serious self-study.

Her students range from age 17 to 85; and include college athletes and senior citizens studying together in a variety of classes.

She lives and works with husband Miles, and dog Dory along the Chesapeake Bay on Maryland’s eastern shore.
